The governance framework that maintains academic quality, institutional integrity and strategic direction across the School of Communications & Media Studies.
The governance framework of the School of Communications & Media Studies provides the structure through which academic quality, institutional integrity, and strategic direction are maintained. It defines the roles of leadership, faculty, and administrative bodies in ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with academic and professional standards.
Through sound governance, SCMS safeguards its mission, supports sustainable growth, and upholds the trust of students, partners, and the wider academic community. This structure ensures transparency, accountability, and academic excellence across all levels of teaching, research, and administration.
The Central Management Council is the highest policy and governance body of SCMS, responsible for providing strategic oversight, institutional direction, and regulatory alignment. Through its leadership, the CMC upholds transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability across all areas of the School—safeguarding academic standards, approving strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with the regulatory frameworks of Learn to Live Business School UK.

The Executive Management Team is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational execution of SCMS's vision and strategic objectives. It oversees academic administration, admissions, finance, IT, student services, and faculty coordination—ensuring that policies set by the CMC are effectively implemented. By managing institutional performance and driving innovation in programme delivery and student engagement, the team ensures that SCMS runs efficiently, maintains high standards, and delivers a world-class learning experience.
